This little girl was born a very light palomino and it was not until she was about 2 years old that she had greyed enough to show she was grey!

Had I known about dark skin at birth being a sign of the grey gene on a red based horse, we would have known right away - as you can see in the two new born photos, she did not have the pinkish skin of a red based new born!
