With the high number of imported horses making their mark on Australian Miniatures we had to decide where to draw the line when including horses in this section which is based on AUSTRALIAN miniatures.

The line has been drawn at the horse actually being BORN on Australian ground.
So while some of the horses under this heading may have full or part US bloodlines, all of them were born in Australia.

To be included in this section the horse should have made an impact on the Australian mini world, either as an outstanding representative in the show ring, a top breeding mini or a mini that is proving itself in another area, such as promoting minis via hospital visits or working with disabled people etc…

Some minis may be in both the Pony and Horse sections.
